 Celebrate the joys of the holiday season this year at Springfield's spectacular Holiday in the City. Holiday in the City is Saturday, November 24, 2012 and is located in the heart of downtown Springfield at the Heritage Center, City Hall Plaza and along Fountain Avenue. This multifaceted event will delight the whole family! Santa arrives in grand style to visit with children in his wonder filled Santa Land. The Grand Illumination of the downtown holiday lights is capped off with a dazzling fireworks display that will set your holiday spirit soaring. Animated window displays, street performances, carriage and carousel rides, food, crafts and more await you...there is something for everyone at Holiday in the City!
