It's beginning to look a lot like Holiday in the City! This November 26th downtown Springfield is the place to celebrate the holidays in festive style.
Cincinnati Bell presents Holiday in the City – A day packed with fun for children of all ages. The event kicks off at noon with the grand opening of SantaLand, on the second floor of the historic Bushnell Building . Children's activities and holiday movies will be showing in the State Theater. There is also a heated food court for everyone to enjoy tasty favorites.
After you've checked your list with the man in the red suit, had a holiday treat, and enjoyed the rest of the afternoon activities, you'll want to stick around for an evening you won't forget, where holiday memories are made in a grand way. A variety of stage entertainment will get your toes tapping, beginning at 5 p.m. Be there as we crown the new Miss Holiday in the City at 5:30 p.m. The Grand Holiday Parade will take place in the evening at 6:30 p.m.
To end the evening and begin the wonder of Christmas, we proudly present The Grand Illumination Celebration after the parade. This celebration is a performance of music, lights, some familiar holiday friends and a spectacular fireworks display. The night sky will light up before your eyes! So with your loved ones beside you, the lights before you and Christmas ahead of you, you realize you're at Holiday in the City. Click to see the holiday tree chosen for the celebration.
